This episode explores a very important aspect of the story, the suspense about Dharmaraj’s true identity is started revealing in this episode. That’s why it is even more challenging for to share my views for it and avoid spoilers. I will try my level best to keep this review small and spoiler-free, but, please read with your consent.
Let me escape one important scene from the beginning of this episode and jump to the part of story where young Dharmaraj’s childhood is explored.
Dharmaraj was a growing up child, living with his mother in a village on the opposite side of the dessert. He was like just any other child, enthusiastic and dreamy. His maternal-uncle Kailash mama was a businessman who used to travel to various places including Jwalarajyam, Mahishmati and others. During those days, travelers used to bring interesting information from far lands and tell stories about their experiences and some even used to write books based on their experiences.
Kailash mama and Dharmaraj share a very emotional bond. His talks and stories created an everlasting impact on young Dharmaraj’s mind. And his mother was enjoying it.
Then what happened that changed this lovely worth of young Dharmaraj and his family? Was there any secret revealed to him? Or he came to know about something important that affected his thought-process? Well, you need to watch the episode to get answers :).
Here is the most important line from the episode that not only talks about the real bond of love but also shares a depressing reality that is true even today.
Every child means a world to his mother. But what would the mother do when the child turns her world upside down.
For any media, be it a book, TV Serial or a movie, the most important attribute of the same is it’s content. It is like the backbone of the fictional media that later support the entire body of work. The stronger and interesting the story is, the final product tends to be entertaining in its proportion.
The story of this episode explores some smaller yet important lessons about child upbringing. The way the things impact the growing mind of the child and how their effects remain with the grown-up person is explored in an interesting yet realistic manner. Though, it deals with child-psychology, there are no heavy words or jargons used. The story flows smoothly. And, that is the success of the script writer.
The director has executed it quite interestingly. And it is supported by the voice-over artists and background music with full integrity. The dialogs are written in the day-to-day language, making them easy for the target audience to connect with.
Various fictional places are elaborated on the screen quite effectively. Hope I could have said the same for the illustrations of characters and their gestures. Though it is a TV Serial that primarily targets kids and young-adults, the immense success of the Baahubali films has raised the bars quite high. Any related to the Baahubali series and the viewer/reader expect visual splendor from it. The animation quality is disappointing in that context.
But, overall, the episode is good as a package. It brings in some lessons worth learning. And, that is becoming rare these days, especially from web serieses.
Summary:
Overall a nice TV Serial episode which conveys some important messages and life lessons. It is like exploring fables to get fun and learn something worthwhile.
