Love is an exceptionally great feeling and words always lack when there comes requirement to explain true love. However there is a huge difference between infatuation, attraction and love. The episode of Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai themed on Rosesh’ love story is not about analyzing the philosophy of love or so, but it is pure humor oriented stuff which have its punches for witty people.

Monisha was preparing some food and as per her definition it was Idli-Sambhar. Sahil came to see her in the kitchen and he was in great romantic mood, till he is informed that to keep a little control on himself as Rosesh was about to come! It was like Zor Ka Zatka Zor Se Laga!!!! Sahil thought to escape from there and asked Monisha to tell him that he got asleep. The reason was quiet simple. He was not ready hear the rehearsal of plays from Rosesh (or any other stuff like his poems and all).
But he was caught by Rosesh before he can move and Rosesh asked him that he have some good news to share with them. Before he could speak a word, there came Indravadan. When he was informed that Rosesh was to share a good news with them all, Indu didn’t left the chance to pull his leg. The funny lines make you laugh when you watch it on screen. The witty dialog and perfect comic timing is all you need in a comedy, which is present here by all means.
The good news was, as expected, Rosesh fall in love with a girl named Maggie. Sahil’s punchline here was great. As she is Maggie she should have replied faster (Maggie, the fast food is claimed to be prepared within 2 minutes)! See Rajesh Kumar (playing Rosesh)’s expressions when expressing his love feelings and you will realize his acting range. He is competent to Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly and of course the seasoned actors, Satish Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah.
By hearing the news, Maya got tensed. For her Rosesh is a baby as a reason. But other reason she was worried about is, if Maggie is not up to high society standards (like Monisha – a middle class family girl) it would be difficult to bring her to her friend circle. She didn’t want to loose his second child(!) Though Indu explained the things pretty nicely to her and said they didn’t lost Sahil, he is living happily with Monisha. And love just happens, its beyond control and doesn’t follow the rules. And he convinced her to at least meet Maggie once, before taking any decision.
Sahil and Monisha were talking to Rosesh about Maggie. The questions were like:
What did you like the most in her?
How did you propose her?
and so on. The questions and all its answers were really a delight to watch.
Maya prepared a delicious lunch for Maggie. The menu included Paneer Pasanda, Mogri Rayta, Aloo Palak and Pulaav. Though when Maggie came we gotta know that she is a pure vegan. She doesn’t take dairy products, lives away from Potatoes and Rice. So actually there is nothing she can eat there!!! In fact she was not ready to drink the filtered water of Sarabhai’s as she drinks only Mineral water from her Aqua Mineral! So she is quite opposite to Monisha. A very high society girl with very high standards. Even higher than those of Maya. Maya was impressed!!! And Rosesh was completely mad and blind in her lover and cannot even think beyond her words. Whatever Maggie says is the command for him to follow. He was more like a dedicated follower to Maggie, rather than her boy friend or lover. Rosesh even started avoiding Maya and got angry over her at a point of time. So first time there is someone came between the mother-son duo!
How the tale will take the turn from this point forward is interesting to watch. Will there be a time when Maya will start thinking that Monisha is rather better with her middle class standard then Maggie with her high standards? The honesty and innocence of Monisha will be overshadowed by the personal of Maggie, or revert will happen? All these questions were better answered when watched the tele serial.
Two things you learn from the episode.
1. One cannot change his nature anyway.
2. The inner qualities like honesty, love, affection, caring nature, truthfulness and others, are much important to have than the material wealth.
Apart from providing just fun to the viewer, this episode is quite like a satirical stuff, which gives a message as well. A delight to watch.
