Reviewing Episode 4 of Hindi TV Serial On DVD Sinhasan Battisi

Lets review the episode number 4 of Sinhasan Battisi – the moral and ethics centric tales from ancient India, produced by Vidya Sinha and directed by Chandrakant.

King Bhoj again tries his luck and attempts sitting on the magical throne of King Vikram (aka King Vikramaditya). Again a doll from the throne gets alive and asks Bhoj that he have to prove himself eligible sitting on the throne belongs a king like Vikramaditya. Then she tells him about an incident from King Vikram’s life to elaborate his generosity and bravery.

One day when King Vikram was in his court, is soldiers bring a lady by claiming that she was trying to commit suicide by jumping into the river. King Vikram and his minister insists her to disclose her problem; so the needful can be done and the person who is responsible to cause her such problems can get the punishment. The lady then says that King Vikramaditya himself is the cause of her sorrow!
She then explains her conditions. She is the wife of Bhairav Dutt, the trusted spy working for King Vikram. After their marriage is completed, soon he got the order to do some work for the kingdom (by the King) and he left for the mission. His whereabouts afterward are unknown. There is no message from him since the day he left. The waiting period is now exceed the duration of an entire year!

Now she thinks that he may or may not be alive. And she don’t there is any meaning of her life without Bhairav Dutt. King Vikram calms her and advises her to not to lose faith. King Vikram then declares her as his sister and he himself leaves in the search of Bhairav Dutt. Vikram’s minister asks him that Bhairav Dutt was sent to the southern area of his kingdom in order to get correct details about the happenings in that section of the kingdom. Everyone else came back a long ago and only Bhairav Dutt is missing till date. His minister and courtiers advises him that it would not be proper that the king himself leaves for the mission to search for an ordinary servant of the kingdom. But Vikram who cares for the people who work with the dedication for the kingdom and now Bhairav Dutt’s wife is his sister also, so he himself have to accomplish the mission to search for him. And, bring him back safely in case he is trapped anywhere.

He left on his mission next morning itself. When he reaches the southern end of his kingdom, he visits the temple of Lord Shiva there and asks the priest of the temple about if there is any place to stay for the visitors. When the priest replied that most of the people who come to visit the seashore mostly stays within the temple premises. Vikram then asks him about if any such visitor have visited the place a year ago, in order to get any information about Bhairav Dutt.
Will he be able to get any information about Bhairav Dutt? Is Bhairav Dutt dead or alive? Will Vikram’s mission be accomplished? Which hurdles will come to Vikram’s way and how he will conquer them all? There are lots of question comes to the mind. Well, I think it is better to watch the tale yourself to enjoy the same.

The human qualities explored are really the gem of the story and that is what each parent think to implant into the kid, so the next generation keep making the world even better place where humans are respected for the qualities they posses.

In the times of bombarding of unethical materials from everywhere, it is tough for a parent to decide how to prevent such things from the child. Such nice serials are one of the answers to implant qualities into the child. Video quality is not up to the mark and you will surely complain when the fights and special effects come. But, it is something which can be avoided for the quality content.
