A nice starting with the the title song along with nice usage of cartoon in the title. All the kids are looking nice and lovely of course.
All the three sisters talking about how stupid of them that they didn’t think to create some stuff on their own and gift to the mother on the auspicious occasion of Deewali. We see the disappoint for themselves is there on the face of each of them. They all meet their mother and talk to her that they also wanted to gift her but anyway now they will share their gifts (important possessions for them, of course) with her. What an emotionally touchy way! At the same time someone came to the door and the eldest sister asked the middle one to see who is the one, which she bypassed to the youngest sister! Of course, siblings do that!! When the youngest sister asks why me? Her mother intelligently tells her that because she is the wisest one! This is the best way a mother can avoid rivalry in the siblings and ask them to do the work by showing love and affection to them!!! Kudos.

When she opens the door, there is a huge gift box found at the door. All the sisters get excited and asked the mother that someone has sent them the Deewali gift. Who could it be? The youngest girl said probably Santa Close could be the one. The middle one asks that Santa comes on the Christmas not Deewali. There is one more punchline comes here as one of the sister said that “But why couldn’t he be Santa? As all the religions are same, Santa could come on Deewali also”. What a great philosophy told in the simplest way! However we see that the son of the wealthy neighbor was overlooking the things and we understand that he is the one who sent the gift. When the mother of the girl come she said, it could be someone have left it at their door by mistake, so let’s not open it and wait till the morning. The youngest girl got most disappointed!

The next morning when the sisters awake they see that the youngest one is already awakened. She than asked what if the gift is not meant for us. The elder sisters wisely calms her down. And then they think where is their mother? They then look for her. She came with Dattu, the boy who came the previous day to call her as his mother was looking for her. He than explains that her sister was not feeling well yesterday and that’s why his mother send him to call her (the girls’ mother). When she didn’t arrive till night, his mother got feared and sent him to the doctor. The boy than starts talking bravely about his journey to the doctor’s home. Then he tells that when he came their home all they were sleeping. Dattu then get their mother awake and took her with him at his home. The mother then comes and gives small amount of milk to Dattu to bring it to his home.

The sisters then feel guilty for their carelessness. They forgot to tell their mother that Dattu came yesterday. Now if something happens to Seema (Dattu’s sister) the are responsible for the same. It would be a murder then! What a noble thought of the responsibility.

What happened to Seema? What would be in the gift box? Now what will happen?

Well, it is suggested that you watch it on your own as we don’t want to spoil the enthusiasm and joy to watch such nice stuff.

If you oversee some characters are acting not that great and the pronunciations of them could have been better. It is a must watch tale. A middle class family and the hurdles they have, the life they live, the real life; is well crafted. In the times when people are talking about lacs and crores of bucks as they are talking about a few hundred of them, it is the reality based stuff which should not be missed.
