Let us take a bird’s eye view of the episode content.
Book Plot:
It all starts with a monologue of Pradhan Guru. He was trying to vent his frustration by talking about his plans and feelings. He, however, doesn’t reveal what made him so angry against Mahishmati and work relentlessly to destroy it by all means.
The tiger cubs saved by Baahubali when her mother was killed by Bhallaladeva are grown up now. Baahubali gave their custody to Sandhya, the widow of one of the men hunted by the mother tigress. The intention was to fill in the void in Sandhya’s life, and of course, the motherless cubs will get a lovely mother too. Time has its own course and the grown-up cubs became Tigers. Sandhya named them Surya and Ujjwal. Ujjwal is elder and calm. Surya on the other end is arrogant and restless. And, both of them started showing true nature of themselves. It is obvious for them to hunt for the prey, as they belong to a killer species.
They started looking for unguarded livestock and kill them to fulfil their hunger. This made people fearful and they went to the queen Sivagami to get protection. Of course, the citizens don’t know any detail about these tigers. But, Baahubali got the idea that who possibly these tigers are. While Bhallaladeva was enthusiastic to kill these predators, he didn’t want to go to these villages to hunt for them. He is a prince and he found such actions are well below his status. The villagers have already asked a deadly hunter to come to their rescue. The hunter is very brutal in nature, and if he found the tigers, the hell will break on them. So, Baahubali decided to intervene and take care of the situation.
Will Baahubali be able to save the tigers? What will be the Tigers’ fate? Is it true that the Tigers are uncontrollable now? Will there be any other threat waiting for Baahubali there in the remote village? Well, you can explore it by watching this episode on Amazon prime video.

Pradhan Guru’s monologue at the beginning of the episode is worth watching. It is well written and well executed. Though it lets him vent his anger and thoughts, it doesn’t reveal the suspense. A well-balanced scene.
The way this episode connects dots through the earlier episodes is really good. It works in favour of the TV series. Through the incidents explored in this episode, the makers are able to convey various messages quite effectively. For instance:
- Each and every species is prone to show its true nature over the period of time.
- The right place for the deadly animals is in the Jungle.
- Those who are restless, are prone to land into a trouble, sooner or later.
- When digging a grave for others, one is actually creating dangerous future for him/herself.
So, overall the content of the episode is quite good. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the animation. Though it is good at many places and it is intended to be a kids related TV Serial and in that terms the animation is ok. Well, I am repeating myself when saying this, but, Baahubali movie series is known for the visual splendour it brought to display on the silver screen. So, the expectations are really high. Apart from few scenes, it doesn’t satisfy it thoroughly. Just look at the way when Baahubali is shown walking to somewhere, from the back. And you will think, it could have been better animated.
The background music is one of the positive attributes of this episode. It adds to the impact of the respective scene(s). When there are no live actors on screen, the background music plays even more important role. These animated characters are made alive by some of the fantastic voice-over actors and they should be appreciated for the remarkable work they have done. It is not an easy thing to voice-over for animated characters. The actors need to rely on their control over the voice to convince the audience, and all of the voice-over actors did the job quite well.
Summary:
Definitely a worth watching episode. If you love Baahubali series of movies, books and other stuff, you will like this episode for sure.
