Let us start by taking a bird’s eye view of the plot of this episode.

Book Plot:

As Katappa is recovered from fatal effects of the deadly poison given to him by Pradhan Guru, the routine things started falling in place. But, the Pradhan Guru was able to escape from the prison by overpowering Bhallaladeva. So, the danger is luring on Mahishmati.

If that is not enough, Sivagami, Bhallaladeva, Katappa and Baahubali got a message that one of their best ships is missing! Sivagami revealed that recently they have lost many ships one by one mysteriously in the sea. And, she got the confirmed information that the ship was actually abducted by pirates. To add to the trouble, the ship contained a large number of weapons of various categories. These weapons are made from the special material found in Mahishmati and it was its unique power. The special material makes the weapons of Mahishmati unbreakable. It give the warriors of Mahishmati an edge during wars.

It is a big problem Mahishmati is facing now. They need to get the ship or at least the weapons back anyway. And, even more important thing is to keep this information secret as revelation of such mishap will create a fearful environment amongst the citizens of Mahishmati.

Sivagami appoints Baahubali and Katappa to accomplish a mission to find the whereabouts about the missing ship and get hold of the weapons.

It is not an easy task. The pirates shouldn’t get even the smell of this stuff cooking against them. Needless to say that it will prove dangerous otherwise for the lives of Baahubali and Katappa.

To accomplish the mission, Baahubali and Katappa decided to went into disguise. Baahubali became Aryan and Katappa is now known as Heera 🙂 They are sea-sailers who are in desperate need of job. They somehow got selected to work on a ship! The captain of the ship was happy to recruit Baahubali, but he doesn’t seem to be impressed with Katappa. He developed ill feelings for him. Baahubali, however convinced the captain that Katappa is a really good cook and he will be able to cook food when they are on cruise!

Somehow Katappa and Baahubali escapes the same when it reach near the city which was their point of interest. They were sure that they will be able to extract some useful information about the pirates from there. They visits a bar there, as the shady characters are found such places and both of them are hopeful to get some solid information here. Unknown to them, an assassin is hired to kill Baahubali and he was provided a painting of Baahubali so he cannot mistake.

Does the uncle-nephew duo will be able extract some useful information? Who is the hired assassin and who hired him/her? Will Baahubali and Katappa survive? If yes, then how? Are they on the correct path to accomplish their mission, or had they chose a wrong way?

All these questions are answered in this episode, which continues the same voyage in the next episode as well.

Views and Reviews:

If you don’t have a good content at your disposal when you are creating or developing any kind of media, making a masterpiece is almost impossible. This episode is really good in that terms, without a doubt. Though, the track of Pradhan Guru is sidelined as of now, but we can surely expect it coming in front later.

In terms of animation, this episode is quite better. The way the scenery of the sea is explored, it is simply superb. Also, the kingdoms of south used to have their own ships and they used to trade through sea-routes with various other countries, it is quite interesting to see it being explored in this episode.

The other thing I like in this episode is the way Baahubali was kept an eye upon, by his enemies. At the same time we see how much care Katappa and Baahubali takes for each other. The way the message to keep an eye on Baahubali and kill him at the right time is conveyed nicely. The scenes at the Bar are quite interesting too. I am not talking much about many other scenes or revealing details about the scene referring here to avoid spoilers, but overall, this episode is a delight to watch.

If the characters are animated in better ways, especially their gestures and way of walking, the episode could have been much better. It surely lack quality there. As we’ve referred earlier also, the viewers will definitely expect much better quality from anything belong to the Baahubali series.

In addition to the work of Arka Mediaworks and the script, the background music is another important attribute of this episode. The background music is very convincing and it is not wrong to say that it adds life to the episode. For any animated work, the voice over given by the artists and the background music plays very important part, and we can see that it is in sync here.

All the voice over artists, deserve credits. All of them are quite effective.

I also recommend you to keep an eye of Aakanksh’s character and how he is behaved by others, as it is going to play a significant role in future.

The episode ends with something really interesting and you will be curious to see how the events are going to unfold, and eager to explore the next episode. Don’t worry, we will come up with our unbiased views and reviews for the next episode soon :).

Summary:

Definitely a worth watching episode. If a viewer want, he/she can take many life lessons from this episode. And yes, it is good at entertainment quotient as well. So, it is one of the best ways to beat the summer heat to watch it indoor :).
