Laughter is the best medicine and jokes are best relief makes. One needs to make sure when making jokes that, the joke doesn’t turn into a problem for other(s). Maya and Vitthal (the man-servant at the home of Maya and Indravadan Sarabhai) were arranging some old stuff at the home. They found some old albums and Maya started remembering the incidents associated with the same.

In one of the Photographs, Indravadan was looking somewhat different than he used. Maya then remembers and tells the strange and funny case associated with that incident. It was the tale which belongs to the period of a few years ago. On one important day when Maya was getting ready for somewhere, Indravadan (then was younger, having mustaches) comes with a gift box and presented it Maya. When maya opened it, she found… well, its secret.

As Maya was unhappy with Indravadan’s mischievous nature she ordered a number of rules for him. Which affected Indu brutally(!). It is fun to know what Indravadan’s mischief did her. When having a conversation in the family members about the incident (only Maya was not there) Indravadan tries proving his innocence(!). The entire scene is funny and shows how nature of a person cannot be changed in any situation, be it Maya or be it Indravadan. The explanation by Monisha that how she identifies Maya, the response to the same by Indu, tells it all :).

Affected by the law and order inforced by Maya, Indravadan started behaving normally. He even started wishing Good Morning to Rosesh(!) as the height of change in himself. Though he made a small mischief by pulling Rosesh’ towel in front of a female-servant and his explanation for the same is quite funny too. He then helps Sahil making the orange drink. It is fun to watch how Sahil convinces Indu to help him. We see Dinesh Jagirdar came to their home and was playing chess with Maya as timepass till they wait for Sarita, Dinesh’ wife.

Sarita was the president of a self claimed committee to spread the message of Saving Water. Though in their conversation we found, how dedicated she was towards that work! The dialog is actually a solid punch over the so called social workers and their work. The serial is an intelligent mixture of comedy and a satire. Anyway, let us move ahead in the story. When the chess match was going on, Maya makes an intelligent move and Dinesh got stunned with the same. At the same time Indravadan enters with Radhabai having the Orange drink glasses in a tray. The drinks are served. Dinesh made a joke on Indravadan and no one laughed. As the joke was 25 years old.

Dinesh took a sip from the drink and then was started thinking for the next move in the game but he was unable to make one. Indu suggested him a move but they found that Dinesh had some problems, and Sahil enters. At the same time Dinesh fall on the floor. Sahil (he is a doctor as we know) said that Dinesh is dead. They all thought that Indu seems to have made a mischief and mixed something in the drink. Because only after drinking the orange drink, Dinesh fall on the floor and no one else have taken even a sip from the same, so no one else was affected. Indu tried proving that he didn’t anything but based on his reputation(!) no one was ready to accept his innocence.

The bigger problem at the time was to prove Indu (and for that matter the Sarabhai family) is not responsible for this sad incident. They all have to behave in the way that it look like Dinesh is alive, in front of Sarita, who is about to reach.

How they cop-up with the situation is the rest of the episode. It is weaved with some funny and some not so funny incidents. How the stuff ends is better to watch on the screen, because situational comedies (or SitComs) can enjoy best when watch without knowing everything about the same. Otherwise knowing the sequence of next scenes makes the fun lesser.

The final verdict is, the episode is enjoyable. The superb acting and perfect comic timings make this not so funny thing as an enjoyable tale. Acting by all the actors is nice, ditto for the background music. The script could have been better, but no doubt its good.
