A day begun in the house of the Sarabhais a little hotter than usual. Indravadan was doing his best to avoid drinking milk and Maya was desperate to make him drink it. Actually as Indravadan was detected with Calcium deficiency, drinking milk on the regular bases was advised to him by his doctor. As Indu doesn’t like the taste of Milk, he is doing all he can to avoid drinking the same. Maya’s intentions were noble of course and Indu is taking his life very much lightly, much more than he should take. Sahil, his elder son was also trying to convince him to do the needful for the sack of his health. Indravadan then shouts that it is the doctor’s conspiracy and his personal interests to make Indu drink the Milk! Suddenly the discussion takes another route when Indu refers the name of Monish. What else Maya need?! She started having her take on Monisha and her middle-class mentality and behavior and the discussion went on.

It is nice watch, what happened then after. And how Indravadan and Maya resolved the stuff. As Sahil have diverted Maya’s thoughts towards the visit she needs to pay to the art gallery to attend a painting exhibition there, Maya leaves for that. When she is back, she is no more the Maya Sarabhai she was!! She was living in the very different world. She was murmuring some old Hindi film songs and was found very happy and doing some filmy stuff. First Indu thought she could have been drunk, but no she was not. When asked she said that she got to have a feeling, a feeling of life, a feeling of existence. She then say that during her visit to the art gallery she met Sudhanshu. Sudhanshu – the famous painter, whose exhibition she attended. When she have visited the place some socialites were there purchasing oils of him (a joke by Monisha comes here) and when Sudhanshu heard her name, he got to met her and delighted to say oh you are Maya, the Maya Sarabhai!
On the course of events we understand that the artist Sudhanshu (played by Parveen Dabaas) have the habit to got topless. He was always looking for the incident which can give him a chance to remove his T-shirt. It could be someone got a few tears in the eyes, or a drop of color somewhere or similar! Sudhanshu (as per his claim) got inspired by Maya’s fabulous appearance and proposed her to be his muse for the next painting. (Monisha interprets Muse as Mule.) Later he comes to pay regular visits to Maya in order to prepare a painting of Maya and keeps flirting(!!) with her. After all the funny incidents ultimately the painting was completed and we gotta see that it was the painting of …
Well let us keep it for you to view rather than read here. Parveen plays his role nicely. Some one liners are really laugh provoking. The prime cast of course plays their part very effectively. You will always think that you are visiting actually Sarabhai’s family and the events there rather than the actors. That is what can be considered as the success. Success of entire episode. Being topless on the occasion as soon as getting a chance to do so, may look a little less dignified here, but it is not vulgar at all. As we say on various occasion, it is a genuine comedy without using double meaning cheap stuff. The writer and director knows their job well and so does the music director. Rosesh’ “Moma” punchline is very effective, and was much famous when the TV Serial was aired. Our verdict: Go for it!
