It all starts with the famous lines:
Main Doob Bhi Gaya To Shafaq Chhod Jaaunga”
Mirza Humayun, once the most loved son of Babar-E-Azam, once the emperor of Mughal Empire was passing through a desert with his family and few of his nearest ones. The small caravan was having really bad time. They do not have excessive amount of anything (including water)! One of the fellow who was drawing the horse of the queen (who was pregnant at the time, falls down, due to weakness. The queen shows her human qualities and offered her horse to the servant! And an this particular situation she could not walk in desert, Humayun offered her his own horse. They were passing through the dangerous desert in such pity conditions! At the time we see there are few armed people, hidden behind the rocks, wearing black cloths and looking deadly saw this caravan. They came and stopped the caravan. Were they decoits? Are they going to loot the already poor caravan?
We got to know that they were not the decoits but the soldiers of Rana Virasal of Amarkot. After apologizing for not being able to identify Humayun, they approach that Rana is waiting for them. This way, with the help of the kind and brave commandant of Amarkot, they are able to reach to the safe place, the palace of Amarkot.
We got to see the inner beauty of the humans of various religions here. And of course the dialogs are really like a poetry. You gonna love it.
Though time was against Humayun and his well wishers. In the mid night Rana was awakened by one of his soldiers. A messenger from Sher Shah Suri was came to meet Rana. And he insist to meet him with no delay. As he has to go back to Sher Shah Suri immediately. So Rana have no way but to come and listen to the messenger.
Rana knew that Sher Shah Suri hadn’t sent a message but a kind of threat. And he knew that it is because he let Humayun stay safely at his own palace. The messenger conveyed the same. And also asked the Sher Shah was very unhappy that Rana offered a shelter to Humayun. On the other hand Rana answered that Humayun is a guest there, and he and Sher Shah both knew that Rana is a Rajput. For Rajputs, guest is like a God. They not only takes care of their guests but respects their esteems also.
By hearing this answer and seeing that Rana doesn’t think to co-operate SherShah and hand over the custody of Humayun. The messenger convey the threat of war. What Rana answered? As a king Rana have to think not only of his own or his family’s safety and fate; but he is responsible for the same of his entire kingdom.
How history stepped ahead is interesting to watch. The background music is competent. The acting of the principal cast is good. The outdoor is really authentic. The sets however lack the stuff expected from the same. The DVD quality is good.
