As you can see, it is definitely an eye caching and attractive cover page. Showing earth map in the background with title in cherry red to brownish color makes is impressive. The top of the book shows a tug of war.

Book Plot:

Vidhaan in a young boy who is passing through his teen age. He lives with his mother in a small village. His uncle’s family also lives in the same village and so does his pet cow and dog. But, the future is unpredictable. What he thought of as a good day turns into a nightmare for him. When he reached his Guru’s ashram, it was vandalized and the Guru himself is attacked? Who are these barbarians who attacked Kaan, and why? Will Vidhaan be able to save his Guru? Well, the questions are better left for you to explore :).

Views and Reviews:

As said earlier, please remember, that the views and reviews explored here are strictly based on the free content available (actually around 80 pages in the form of PDF are available to read for free, so it is a kind of good amount of content in the sense).

The author seems to be in the complete control of the things. While he is exploring the mythology the references of any of the incidents or characters will not be found anywhere in the ancient literature, as the book is pure work of fiction, so it is not like mythology retold.

Vivek chose interesting names for the characters in the book. As far the free content is concerned, each name lives upto its characteristics. The book has some good war scenes which are written effectively. At the same time, the satire implanted in the story will surely amuse you. Sattu’s character appears for the comic relief, but it seems that he has more to do in the story. The way suspense is kept building and gradually one by one answers are coming, makes the book more interesting.

The love between men and animal is shown effectively and so does the family relations. The ideal situations in which a mother raises her kid, and then lets him go for the greater good, is emotional drama which you can relate to.

Though, it is a mythological fantasy fiction, the author tries to reason the things and incidents appear. The way the surroundings, architectures and scenes are explained is really interesting. The book seems to be a complete entertainer with a substance in the story.

Here are some of the lines form the book content which I found interesting:

Summary:

So far, the book seems impressive and if the entire book (series) has the same quality of content, it is definitely unmissable.
