This Is Here In For You

Book Plot:

Now we know about the mishap at the IO Jail, all the 12 most dangerous prisoners kept there slipped away. IO Jail is the most secure prison and it was not possible to break the security layers without any extra-ordinary help from inside. The entire governing body including the VishwaPramukh were quite shocked by knowing about the incident. Not only the fact that the prisoners escaped can wreak havoc, but the breach of the security lines at IO Jail raised many questions.

Being the jailer Maya was the person-in-charge. No doubt, that she was responsible for the security of the jail. By considering the impact of this mishap, the governing body has decided to launch an in-depth investigation of this mishap and the VishwaPramukh has suggested Captain Vyom to handle the mission. While not everyone was happy to send inexperienced Vyom on this mission, the VishwaPramukh’s suggestion was ultimately followed.

En-route, Vyom suggested that his spaceship should follow the same route which Lt. Maya had taken. He was advised that the meteors are known to change their paths, but he insisted to follow the same route. He also delivered a strict message that no one should be touching anything at IO till he reach there.

Here, Maya has decided to look at the points of action for any evidence she could probably find. She was advised to not to visit the place, nor touch anything, as the per the order of Captain Vyom. She was however convinced that some proofs melt with the time, and the sooner the search for the same is made, the better.

Vyom follows an eventful journey and lands at his destination. He was furious though, by knowing that despite his orders, Maya went into the cells of the jail. He considered a possibility of Maya being the insider who helped the prisoners to get escaped!

Was Maya the insider? Will Maya be able to prove her loyalty? Will there be a case running on her? Well, you need to watch the episode to know more.

Fortunately it is officially available on YouTube to watch for free.

Views and Reviews:

The concept of the series is really good and the layers are unwrapping quite interestingly. If we consider, the children and young adult as the primary audience, then the serial is able to remain true to their expectations. The special effects were quite good in terms of the time when they were applied. These days, however, we see much better special effects in movies and even on Television, so it is quite possible that the viewers find it of below average quality at many places.

For example look at the scenes where Vyom is flying the spaceship, they look quite childish.

As mentioned earlier, the content is the main aspect for any media to depend upon. And, in that segment the serial scores good point. We also see that a romantic track is building. The way the power of all the 12 prisoners who escaped is mentioned, is quite interesting. Unless all the characters are given proper importance, including the villains, the hero’s abilities cannot be explored convincingly. Also, there is no gender bias in terms of characters and their exploration. Some so called feminists should have to see this episode to know that it is possible to build strong characters regardless of its gender, without speaking ill of the others.

Of course, the impression of the visual content highly depend upon the actors as they portray the characters. And if they do their job convincingly, they can take the audience to the fantasy zone and let them attach with the audience emotionally as well. The TV Serial belongs to those early days, when Milind Soman, who plays the protagonist, was considered more of a model than an actor. He does his work convincingly. Kartika Rane is a talent to watch out for. Actually she did work in the visual media later on also, we can see starting of her journey as an actor in this episode. She needed to work better in some of the scenes, she is likable as Maya and there are no two thoughts on that. Tom Alter and other actors have comparatively smaller roles, but they are able to make their presence felt. Some actors could have dubbed it better, though.

The background music is one of the most important aspects of any media. The same is good in this episode. It helps build the impact of the respective scenes quite effectively. Same we can say for the dialogs. While you see some over-the-top dialogs where you can find the characters are being narcissistic, the dialogs are good at most of the places.

I am avoiding to talk about some of the important scenes of the episode, as it can definitely contain spoilers otherwise.

Summary:

Overall a TV Serial, you must not miss. It will prove a good watch for Kids especially during this summer vacation time.
