This Is Here In For You

Book Plot:

Whatever we do, good or bad, will have its consequences and we cannot ditch the Karma by any means. Sometimes, we pay later and sometimes sooner, but escaping is not possible in most of the cases. And, even if we don’t consider it spiritual or divine, based on the theory of Energy, the waves of the good and bad deeds will remain there and show their effect on the right time (in most of the cases). Based on the well-accepted theory by famous scientist Albert Einstine, we know that the energy cannot be produced or destroyed, it can shift forms based on the outside process, though.

Why are we talking about this philosophy?

Well, as you know that the situations are quite complicated in Mahishmati as of now. With the rise of new contender of the throne of Mahishmati, the power hungry selfish ministers and courtiers have decided to support him! Were they unhappy under the rule of Sivagami? Well, they are not. But, everyone wants more power and eventually wants to rise above the others. And thus, the lust for power makes them do what they shouldn’t.

They are not supporting Dharmaraj because he is the righteous candidate. They are supporting him so, in future, they can make him do what they want!

Anyway, Baahubali and Bhallaladeva need to do something to save Mahishmati from the consequences of any wrongdoing, so they came out with a plan and eventually get out of the kingdom. The only way they can open the eyes of the citizens of Mahishmati is by exploring the truth of Dharmaraj! Who he is? From where he came? And why? Is he the real heir?

On their way to the native of Dharmaraj, they passed through Varaah’s kingdom and Bhalla was sure that he can make Varaah do what he wants! And, he has reasons to believe it. If you don’t remember the reasons, you can revisit the incidents of Episode 7 of the first season.

The wheel of the time keeps rotating, and thus the things are not in favor of Bhalla now, he cannot blackmail Varaah anymore. But, Baahu has a genuine friend there, who can even offer her life to him. The only thing is, she cannot come openly to support him! Why? Is she afraid of anyone? No. She was bound by a promise she made to Sivagami.

But, the things are not easy for Baahu and Bhalla despite the helpful hint and reference they’ve received from unknown (actually known) friend!

Quests are never easy, otherwise, they could have been called picnics :).

They need to pass through a jungle, but in the jungle, they were cornered by some invisible fellows! Who they are? And why they’ve cornered Baahu and Bhalla? What are their demands? Will Baahu and Bhalla get out from this danger(!)?

Views and Reviews:

The episode is really good in terms of script. It conveys some messages effectively without verbally uttering them. It requires an even more brilliant script. The makers did a really good job by spending proper resources on getting a quality script developed. Baahubali, the series is all about visual splendour and larger than the life stuff. That is fantastic. But, the core of the same has to be a convincing script. Without a proper base, the media cannot excel, no matter how much resources are spent after it.

Just take an example. the first movie in the Baahubali series Baahubali: The Beginning did wonders on the box office and people appreciated it wholeheartedly. However, the movie raised an important question “why Katappa killed Baahubali?“. The second movie in the series, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has to come up with the convincing answer to fulfil these expectations. If the answer was not convincing, the movie could have been a disaster on the box office, despite the special effects and other elements.

In these terms, the script of this episode is satisfying. And, so does the execution. We got to see different attributes of Baahu and Bhalla which lead to the consequences we had seen in the movies. At the same time, the characters of Varaah and Yamagni are also given their due time on screen. The children part come up as a pleasant surprise. It is weaved in the story convincingly and it helps to elaborate the characters in depth and at the same time, moves the story forward too.

The background music and dialogs of this episode require a special mention. The background music multiplies the impact of the respective scene and the dialogs are simple yet effective. Some wisdom uttering lines will remain with you even after you complete watching this episode, and it is a positive sign.

As said earlier, Baahubali is all about the visual splendour and larger than the life story and execution. And, when watching a TV Serial in the same connection, you expect the same from it. Here, I left disappointed. Especially with the animation quality. Though, if you compare it with some of the kids’ TV Shows, you will find it ok; but, not when it is associated with Baahubali genre. And, there are many TV Shows being aired these days which shows more convincing 3D like (if not pure 3D) exploration. So, on the whole, the makers could have spent more time and efforts here.

Summary:

Well, if you love Baahubali franchise, you will surely enjoy this episode too.
