Dekh Bhai Dekh was a Hindi TV Serial aired on the Doordarshan, and primarily it was a SitCom (Situational Comedy). Though it would be better to say that it was satire as well. As it was dealing with the burning and current issues of the society. Which were true at that time and are equally correct during the current time as well.

For example, the Episode two of the serial focuses on a tapori gang’s act to grab the land forcefully from a simple family and create hotel/buildings etc. there and to sell the same. Now it is not the problem only at Metro cities nowadays (of course the severity is more there). Nowadays regular cities are started facing the same problem. As a lot of people are coming from villages to town and town to the cities and from there to the metros. They make the move for the better education, career or life. Hence the shortage of the land is there and the price rise. This gives the goon an opportunity to think about grabbing land from people and sell the same to earn a handsome amount of money.
This episode focuses one such issue and how Diwan Pariwar wisely and intelligently deals with the same.
The story is simple. As everyone in the Diwan family is busy doing their routine and pranks are always there of course. They have go to for a picnic, in their own garden. Somehow the leading lady of the home Sarla Diwan could not join them as she is quite busy with social stuff. To oppose some land/building grabbing she have to go and meet the minister. It is decided that the rest of the family members can go for the picnic and she will be joining them later.
When Kareema was moving around he see some guys were roaming through the home measuring various things. They have had a funny argument and Kareema sends them out of the home. Later though the guys with their leader came and they claim that they are the new owner of the property. Everyone though if Sr. Mr. Diwan could have sold the property so they go to them one by one asked him about the same. But as he was busy playing with kids he interpret and answers the questions in the different context. His answers were then misinterpreted by the home members.
Later when everyone got together, they realized that the leader is a kind of local goon. And they are trying to grab the Diwan mention by hook or crook? Now it is up to them that how they are going to (if they can) save the house!
The incidents are quite funny and the DVD quality is quite good. A nice watch.
